Hi!

We are Dennis and Liz Kennedy. We were the About^® guides to Wichita, Kansas.  When that company decided to remove our site from their network, we elected to start our own site.  We intend to make this site the definitive source of current information about Wichita, Kansas.

To provide a bit of personal background, Dennis honed his skills in website development by volunteering his services to develop initial sites for several Wichita cultural organizations, including Botanica, The Wichita Gardens. Liz has been active in downtown development and in the arts and humanities community for more than a decade. In 1997, she received the Distinguished Service Award from the Wichita Convention and Visitors Bureau for her efforts in support of tourism. Through their business, Wichita Scribe, Dennis and Liz have had the opportunity to gain further experience in promotional writing and website development and maintenance.

Dennis and Liz are both graduates of Brown University.  Dennis received his MS in Family Therapy from Friends University and is an adjunct instructor at Butler County Community College.  He is also the Clinical Director at the Substance Abuse Assessment Center of Kansas.  Liz is employed by Arts Partners.  In her "spare time," she is also on the Buckner Performing Arts Magnet School site council.
